Launched in 2005 as a collaboration between the US Army and America’s communities and an integral part of the 4H/Army Youth Development Project, Operation Military Kids strives to support children affected by deployment of parents through the provision of Hero Packs, educational , social and recreational activities, school assistance programs, and opportunities to meet other youth also affected by deployment.
